As you can tell, the blog has been dormant and will most likely be down for another month. I am currently getting my house ready for resale and have very little free time, but once my house hits the market in the next month or so. I should be back up a running soon with my weekly blogs. AND Congrats to Bob Grant, things should start moving quickly now that he is in charge.

With the final decision on the WSU AD position being finalized soon I thought I would take another look at the candidates. I am picking WSU as being on the 2 or 3 line firmly in the CBI tourney, with the only hope of the NIT being if teams choose the CBI over the NIT. There were too many league upsets in the lower conferences taking up an additional 15 spots in the NCAA and NIT. I think Wright State making the NCAA last year gives them some staying power to get into the CBI.

It's nice to see in the Dayton Daily News that the Raiders are still practicing hard for a post season tourney. Hopefully most of the favorites in the 1 bid conferences win their tourneys so the NIT doesn't fill up with automatic bids. I have the feeling WSU will be in the CBI, but I haven't given up on the NIT just yet.
